What makes our person-centered approach different?
Our peer-to-peer empowerment model makes us unique. Most importantly, our staff and volunteers understand the challenges of being disabled because we are living with disabilities, too. Many of us have been DVR clients. We offer flexible support and an array of program options for people with all types of disabilities. We don’t make any decisions on anyone’s behalf—all choices are made by the individual. We can meet folks in the community, at one of our three King County offices or virtually by phone or Zoom.
We offer:
Comprehensive or Partial Independent Living (IL) Evaluations
Independent Living Skills Training
Work-Related Systems Access
Pre-ETS Self-Advocacy Training
Pre-Employment Transition Services
We are a licensed provided of Pre-ETS for youth ages 14-22 with an IEP, 504 plan or any documented disability. Services are provided at no cost to eligible students.
Our fun, interactive and accessible lessons cover topics such as job hunting, interviewing, personal finance and much more.
Services are provided in partnership with the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services Division of Vocational Rehabilitation.
