Model city code

We are proud to help lift up the work the City of Redmond is doing around accessibility.

Redmond just adopted a new revised city code that will incorporate Universal Design and is a model of inclusivity.

Disability Empowerment Center staff participated on the planning committee and helped lead a disability-specific listening session.

Redmond's process of community involvement in creating these code changes was inclusion at its finest.
