The Traumatic Brain Injury National Data Center (TBINDC) at the The Kessler Medical Rehabilitation Research and Education Center (KMRREC).

The National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR) generates new knowledge and promote its effective use to improve the abilities of people with disabilities to perform activities of their choice in the community, and also to expand society's capacity to provide full opportunities and accommodations for its citizens with disabilities.

The National Center on Secondary Education and Transition (NCSET) coordinates national resources, offers technical assistance, and disseminates information related to secondary education and transition for youth with disabilities in order to create opportunities for youth to achieve successful futures.

The Center for Psychiatric Rehabilitation at Boston University is a research, training, and service organization dedicated to improving the lives of persons who have psychiatric disabilities.

The Center for International Rehabilitation Research Information and Exchange (CIRRIE) facilitates the sharing of information and expertise in rehabilitation research between the U.S. and other countries through a wide range of programs.

Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP)

The Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA) oversees grant programs that help individuals with physical or mental disabilities to obtain employment and live more independently through the provision of such supports as counseling, medical and psychological services, job training and other individualized services.

The National Spinal Cord Injury Statistical Center at the University of Alabama, Birmingham

The National Spinal Cord Injury Association is the oldest and largest civilian organization which is dedicated to help Americans who are coping with the results of spinal cord injury and disease.

The Illinois Spinal Cord Injury Association is a non- profit organization providing information and resources for people paralyzed by spinal cord injuries.

The Illinois Office of Rehabilitation Services (ORS) is the state's main agency for providing services to persons with disabilities.

The Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities lists programs and services in the city of Chicago.

The Illinois Rehabilitation Association is a voluntary division of the National Rehabilitation Association.

Access Living of Metropolitan Chicago is a center for service, advocacy, and social change for people with disabilities.

Access Living is a non-residential Center for Independent Living for people with all types of disabilities.

The National Rehabilitation Information Center (NARIC) provides information services and document delivery to the disability and rehabilitation communities across the United States.

The National Council on Disability (NCD) is an independent federal agency making recommendations to the President and Congress to enhance the quality of life for all Americans with disabilities and their families.

The National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) is the United States' principal health statistics agency. It designs, develops, and maintains a number of systems that produce data related to demographic and health concerns.
